Danny - the new stud dog for the Irish Dogs for the Disabled

'Danny' (from Bella's litter to Rodney) went to the Irish Dogs for the Disabled to train as an assistance dog.  Normally the dogs are neutered at around 8-9 months of age for the purpose of training.  However, the Irish Dogs for the Disabled have been so impressed with Danny's temperament and ability that they have decided to keep him in tact and use him as the new stud dog for their breeding programme - health tests pending so fingers crossed!  Danny will continue to receive training.

A big thanks to Danny's foster parents for looking after him and bringing him on so well, also well done to Bella and Rodney for producing lovely sound pups.

Left: Danny at around 12 weeks after meeting the Irish Minister for Education, Minister Harney.  Danny is sitting and looking very proud on Minister Harney's seat after passing his first puppy test.  Below: Danny at 8 months relaxing at home after passing another assessment and being told he's going to be a lucky boy!
